New Batman Arkham Origins Toy Promo Shots from NECA and Square Enix Play Arts Kai

Hot off of the release of the announcement trailer for Arkham Knight, big-time toy maker-types NECA and Square Enix (under the Play Arts label) have released some absolutely gorgeous promotional shots of their upcoming Batman: Arkham Origins toys. First up is NECA's 1/4 scale (aka: a flippin' hurge 18 inches) Origins Batman, a toy which packs exquisite sculpting and over 20 points of articulation. Let's take a look at a few of the promo shots in question:

This thing is glorious! We especially love the inclusion of the bat-claw gadget, as well as the ability to holster it (so to speak) on the utility belt. At present time, this is set for a May 2014 release.

Batman does not look quite as good, but it should still fit in with the rest of your Play Arts Kai Batman collection without any issue, as the stylized sculpt-work and articulation-overkill are in full effect. That Deathstroke though? Day-um! So far, the release of these two is still to be determined. We will keep you posted!
